Basic Life Support (BLS)

The Basic Life Support (BLS) course is tailored for prehospital providers, such as EMTs, paramedics, and firefighters, as well as in-facility hospital providers. Upon successful completion, students receive a BLS course completion card valid for two years. This course teaches high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, the AHA Chain of Survival with a focus on BLS components, the critical early use of an AED, effective ventilations using a barrier device, and the importance of teamwork in multirescuer resuscitation.
