The American Heart Association reports that approximately 90 percent of people who suffer out-of-hospital cardiac arrests do not survive. However, CPR, especially if administered immediately, can double or even triple a cardiac arrest victim’s chance of survival. Ensuring that more people are trained in CPR and understand the importance of swift action can significantly improve survival rates for cardiac arrest victims.

The Family & Friends CPR Course is intended for anyone who wants to learn CPR and prefer to learn in an Instructor-led or facilitated group environment. This course is for people who do not need a course completion card for a job or other requirements. This course is ideal for community groups, parents, grandparents, caregivers, schools and students, and others interested in learning how to save a life.
